Vote Obetz and the Obetz Historians are sponsoring a candidate meet and greet. The event includes candidates from Groveport Madison and Hamilton Local School Board candidates, Hamilton Township and Madison Township Trustee candidates and City of Obetz Council candidates.

Discussions will also include the City of Obetz Public Safety Issue #18 and the Obetz Alcohol Issue #20b.

The event will take place at the Dixon Quarry Pavilion (4400 Industrial Center Drive) from 6-8 p.m.

There is another opportunity to meet candidates on Oct. 7. The Enchanted Acres Community Club will be hosting a Public Meet & Greet on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Enchanted Acres Community Center (4460 Janice Marie Blvd, Obetz).

This event will feature Obetz City Council candidates, Hamilton Township Trustee candidates, Hamilton Local School District Board candidates, and Obetz Police Levy representatives.

“While the City isn’t the organizer, we believe events like these strengthen transparency, accessibility, and community engagement in the election process,” Public Relations Manager for the City of Obetz Kaitlin Duncan said.
