As colder weather approaches, Christ’s Cocoons is preparing to provide warmth and comfort to those living outdoors across Central Ohio. The ministry, which began at Peace United Methodist Church in Pickerington, collects and distributes new and gently used sleeping bags, tents, and other essential items—along with messages of hope and Christian encouragement—to people experiencing homelessness.

To support its outreach this winter, Christ’s Cocoons will hold a Progressive Euchre Party on Friday, November 7, at Peace United Methodist Church. For a $20 entry fee, participants will enjoy light refreshments, prizes, and friendly competition, with special recognition for the evening’s winners and the player with the most loners. Space is limited to about 64 players.

All proceeds will help provide sleeping bags, tents, and other items of comfort to those in need.
