Home Sweet Home Show

Canal Winchester Classic Marching Band Competition

A day of high school marching band performances, culminating in a show by the Canal Winchester Marching Indians.
Bingo Night Benefiting Kids Get Cancer Too
Sept. 20; 6 p.m.
The Studio at Grace FTC, 1449 Refugee Rd.
Proceeds will benefit Ohio families with children in active cancer treatment.
Early registration tickets are $25 online, or $30 at the door. Each ticket includes a 12-game packet with six cards per game, and all games pay cash prizes. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with Bingo starting at 6 p.m.
The event is for ages 18 and older. Extra game cards, raffle tickets for themed baskets, concessions, and 50/50 raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Seating is limited. Register at kgct.org.
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Canal Winchester’s collection site is set up in a convenient stop and drop model, allowing those discarding unwanted prescription drugs to remain in their vehicles, drop medications with collection agents, and continue on their way. Collectors may only accept pills. The service is free and anonymous; no questions asked.

Community Fishing Day

The City of Canal Winchester invites the community out for a free afternoon of fishing, food, and family fun.Bait will be provided, courtesy of Columbus Wholesale Fish Bait. Volunteers will be on hand to help anyone new to the sport get set up and demonstrate basic instructions.
