Bugstravaganza! was at Walnut Woods Metro Park on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2025.
The event invited families to connect with surrounding organizations that associate with bugs!
The Ohio State University Bugmobile showcased bugs from all over the world. Many were touchable like hissing cockroaches but some were no,t like the black widow from Arizona.
Visitors were invited to drag nets along the park to find insects and identify them. The majority found were gnats and ladybugs.
Associations representing beekeeping, butterfly conservation and more were on hand to offer crafts and information.
