On Aug. 29, firefighters from both Hamilton and Madison townships worked to extinguish a series of small grass fires along the north side of I-270. Law enforcement officers from the Obetz Police Department and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office assisted. The fires dotted the dry vegetation both east and west of the Groveport Road overpass.
