The Canal Winchester Chamber welcomed a new business to the city on Aug. 14.

Dr. Anthony Sciortino, who prefers Dr. Anthony, wanted to add his pediatric dentistry business to Canal Winchester after several visits.

“It’s beautiful around here, I got good vibes when visiting,” Sciortino said.

He noted that Canal Winchester was very dog friendly and decided to decorate the offices to match that sentiment. Images of Canal Winchester buildings adorn the walls with dogs mimicking the people of the town.

Dr. Sciortino, who personally only owns two cats, said that the dogs would put patients at ease.

“Nobody likes a dentist but everybody loves dogs,” Sciortino said.
