The Canal Winchester varsity lady golf team performed well at their first Ohio Capital Conference match-up.

The OCC match up was with Teays Valley and Lancaster.

At an OCC match a team can have several players but only the top four scores are recorded per team.

The Indian ladies finished in third place for the Aug. 19 match at Blacklick Woods Golf Course.

Senior Rileigh Brogan is playing her fourth year and admits that she loves putting.

Her goal for the year is “to have fun because it’s my senior year.”

Sophomore Regan Steele has played for three years.

“My goal is to be better than the girl I was last week,” Steele said

Coach Joel Booher has high hopes for the team this year….
