Art exhibition in the Wagnalls Loft

The Canal Winchester Art Guild (CWAG) is hosting an exhibition in the Loft at the Wagnalls Memorial Library, now through Aug. 19.

Visitors are welcome to browse the artwork during the library’s regular operating hours. Many pieces are available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the library.

Featured artists include Margaret Eriksen, Susan Finch, Nancy Brue, Sandra Packer, Veronica Collier, and Kendall Potts.

CWAG regularly exhibits artwork at Wagnalls and maintains a gallery space at the Canal Winchester Community Center.

“We install new work every three months there. We also feature two different artists every month at the Wigwam restaurant. CWAG artists are featured on fourteen outdoor murals in downtown Canal Winchester,” said member Carolyn Sittler.

Those interested in joining the Art Guild are welcome to attend monthly meetings, held first Tuesdays at the community center.

“At the meetings, we explore different art mediums with demonstrations and hands-on projects,” Sittler added.
